Khalid,
I understand your frustration. All the guilds have been set back months. It feels like much of our progress has been lost. As far as I'm concerned, we have to play the waiting game right now, get aas, get lvls, get small upgrades, and wait until each of our guilds gets an influx of newer players. What happened was the same thing which happned on live: players won encounters with lower number than desired, so the high-end is adjusted for 70s, instead of 40s. Hell, it took an insane strategy for first serverwide AoW kill to prove to them how ridiculous thier mob was. 88 ppl, 82 minutes, 550 deaths, 30+ charmed giants as main tank (in groups of 4). AoW version 1 could have probably killed every other boss at once (cept sleepr). Then, the fixed him.
What is the solution for WR? Pure numbers. At risk of being flamed, I suggest combined raids (non-faction, of course, so no kael or tov). Our Rymaz ninja started this whole fiasco. I know we had more than 20. And something like 6 clerics. But stilll, he should have been harder, I agree. But since bosses have become so hard now, and not ninjable, I think we should consider re-allowing joint raids. Otherwise, nothing new will die for many more months.
And before all the devs jump on me saying everything is winnable, I'd like to point out both Ruin and Gotw's track record for last month. Has anything new been killed? No. Have we even come close to killing anything new? No. Have we wiped to alot of old encounters? Yes. What is the solution? More people. How? We wait, or we join forces. I'd rather clear PoT tommorow, with no loot on corpses, than have to wait another month for the scrubs to level up...
Also, I'm not sure why everyone is so mad all the time. The point of forums is discussing. If you don't agree, you don't agree. That's life. Calm rationality always wins over violent outbursts (from dev and player alike). Rants make the argument become one of pride and offense, not logic, not truth.
Anyway, I'd like to hear thoughts from both sides of argument about joint raids. Keep it civil please.
