Old School EQ Coming Back!

Hi folks ran into this site by happenstance thanks to Youtube, while looking up old EQ videos. My copy of EQ Titanium should be here by Wednesday. I look forward to plunging into the game that started my addiction to MMORPGS.

For those that care I used to play on, Tallon Zek way back in the day. I didnt make it very far but I enjoyed my journey.

Look forward to seeing if SoD lives up to the hype, which im sure it will.
 
This version is much more fun then live. GM's here are very helpful and responsive. Check out the wiki site for extra info on things different from here to live :)

Id also encourage you to make 2 accounts so you can have a box healer (unless of course you like to main a healer). That’s one piece of advice I wish I was given before I started on here. You can get groups fairly easy with always 100 people online to upwards of 500+, but in those slower times, its always good to have a fall back plan.

It was an old video but it did the trick.

I read a bit of the wiki page pretty informative, however what would be the best char to box with? I was thinking of making a bard and shaman.
 
The best advice, and probably the most common, about boxing is simple: Do what you think will be the most fun and dont be afraid to try out a few different combos. Its pretty quick to play the first 20 levels and see if you like a class or not. In general one of the chars people box is a healer type (dru, cler, shm) but it is not necessary. Some pairs will be better than others but pretty much anything is doable, so check out the classes and see what combo you think will be the best for you.
