Old player new game?

Hiya, old player from several servers playing up until GoD expansions that had to leave for several reasons. Ive been reading about the server running here and i have to say I'm excited while my patcher is running. Seems like we have a clever mix of common sense changes and old (good) EQ. I do have a few questions though:
Ill be playing mainly in GMT is there any other British players around?
And i was reading the rules and the GMs don't allow camping, is this to say players will not be decent if you have been holding a camp, or just no camping in general?

People play from all around the world, so while you might not always be able to find someone in your level range the server won't be empty ever.

The deal with camps is this:

You don't get to "claim" mobs unless you are actively fighting them. Even if you are standing a few feet away, as long as the mob is at it's spawn point and nobody has aggro on it it's fair game. Ensure that you don't grab a mob once someone else has aggro on it though, that IS kill stealing and is punishable.

HOWEVER, it is generally considered polite that if someone was in a spot before you and they ask you nicely to leave, you go. There' no rule about it and GMs won't punish anyone, but it's courteous.

The only exception is raid zones, which CAN be claimed. To claim a raid zone you must have at least 12 characters formed up and inside the zone, actively clearing something, then they can have exclusive rights to the raid zone or area of the zone in huge zones, without fear of interference from other guilds, until they leave the zone empty for 1 hour.
