I'm an old EQ player that just recently heard about SoD. I'm patching right now to try it out, and I'm really excited. In my personal opinion, pre-PoP EQ was the best game ever. Do you guys thing I'm going to enjoy SoD?

I think you will really enjoy this server! Just keep in mind that almost everything is different (as in better!). Ask lots of questions in Dalaya's Beginners (you are automatically enrolled in that guild) and review the SoD wiki - most of the information there is "reasonably" accurate and current.
