Offense

Until Yesterday everytime I gained an offensive skill up my attack went up 1 to 2 points. From 200 skill offense to 250 offense I only gained 3 attack points total. I was wondering if this was a bug or if it was intended to be like this. I am a Lvl 49 Rogue. On defense AC has been going up, I just don't understand why offense hasn't.

Today I hit lvl 50 and my defense exceeded 200 and my AC stopped going up as well. I was half way into my lvl 48 when my Offense skill started going up and it was directly after a patch when the skills started climbing. My Defense which was previously capped at 175 started getting skill ups and my AC increased. Now my Defense is roughly 210 and the AC hasn't changed in 10 skillups. I know before the patch I wasn't able to get these skillups until post 51, is it right to assume that my attack and defense will automaticly adjust when I hit 51? My piercing skill has not increased nor has double attack or anything else that I can find. I have tried petitioning with no response and I know yall have been busy and quite a few things are going on right now. If anyone has any info on this please let me know.

i think i know~

this may be a little off, but i'm pretty sure i remember the general formula ...

lets go with offense.. each time you gain a level, your offense skillcap goes up 5 points. for example @level 1 your skillcap=5, at level 2 your skillcap=10, etc

then at level 40, your offense skillcap will max @ 200
the cap for any skill at level 60 is 255, so the 55 points are divided up between 20 levels. this gives you 2 or 3 skill ups per level.

now for what i don't know.. since POP came out and the level cap was moved to 65, the skillcaps were also increased.. to what? i dunno, like i said this is what i don't know. but i'm sure somebody else can tell you.. as for a basic answer to your question though.. see the bold text again =)

edit.. as far as AC going up i dunno that either.. HP are supposed to rise each level also, but not with skill ups.

2nd edit.. now that i read your post again i dont think i answered any question you had at all. in fact i think i misread the whole thing. i'll just leave this post up so you can all point and laugh, and in the mean time i'll try to uncross my eyes
