Now on my cleric 97% of the time i'm casting a heal. So could me make this proc before the spells goes off ( know it's been done for other items)
I guess I feel the would be better fitted to land before my heal then after I just healed the target X to full anyhow. And senc e the item is only healer classes on it .. Seem it would be about the same for everyone else.

If your heal is healing the target to full anyways why would it matter if it lands before or after the heal does?

I'm trying to figure it out and I honestly have no idea why it matters which one goes off first

well imo the proc is worthless after the spell. Mine as well not be there. Unless by chance in that 10th of a second (player X) takes more dmg. I guess I would just like to see the proc do something more than hit for 0 constantly.

Cast time obv. When I cast LoE I think it's 3.2 seconds (with csi 7)

So pre active proc would be
Small proc heal. ~ 3 seconds later would come the real heal. Could be life saving, and the proc gets used for the heal amount

Post is
3.2 seconds LoE lands followed instantly by another small heal for 0. Wasted proc.

That isn't how procs work, nor have they ever worked this way. If a proc went off when you started casting your spell, people would just duck out spells to get procs from various things. The only way procs work is instantly before the spell lands or instantly after it lands.

Either way it does not matter at all for this bracer.

Well it annoyed me enough I just got rid of it .. Deleted item /cheer and good riddance for your worthless heal spam.

It's a really useful proc when you're spamming quick heal on raid fights where the tank is taking a lot of damage. Your quick heal generally won't heal them to full, and that extra 300 heal non crit is pretty darn good for the tier.

Pretty much, big heal isn't the only spell out there, quick heal works too. This proc is an example of a situational proc. I've had so many healers be like "oh yea, that bracer proc is sexy, it's saved the raid on x fight from quick healing and it procced"

Am I missing something here I always thought that this bracer was a self heal proc? Either way, procs like this are amazing and if you cannot appreciate the usefulness of it then I feel bad for you.

If it procs on your target like the posts in this thread seem to imply, then let me break down its usefulness for you. On Light of Eternity it provides an almost 8% chance of adding 2% more healing, for Althuna's Remedy it adds a 6% chance of adding almost 4% more to healing. Not sure what is not to like about this, you are essentially complaining about your heals healing for more?
