No wizzy, for months people in GOTW have been saying to me that the weapon has really good aggro. Tanks in your guild have talked about how good it is. I dont really care about Rymaz really, I dont like how things keep getting changed because they are easy for Coltaine, using gear we cant get. We arent anywhere near killing Rymaz before or after the nerf regardless. However, its not the only mob that has been changed, or the only camp.
Anyway, ill just drop it, because maybe I do need the code in front of me to see how a 15/20 weapon isnt great aggro, regardless of the proc.
Stop trying to change the point. The point wasn't that a 15/20 weapon is great, the point people tried to claim was that Rymaz isn't doable without the loot from Rymaz, which is what upset me, not that you think encounter tuning should be handled differently. Trying to make me look like someone who insults you for thinking inferiorly that Ytraz is good does not work. And that sarcasm is quite weak. I did include you in the wrong category, you weren't spreading misinformation.
Rymaz was changed, after the initial three kills, out of which Coltaine participated in two. It was changed after a kill in which Coltaine did not even tank it. Rymaz was not changed because of Coltaine, assuming that is ridiculous paranoia, he was changed beacuse he was a mob doable with 20 people and a half-okay tank that dropped large amounts of loot way above other mobs doable by the same raid force.
You're really diffuting the issue. Things were never changed exclusively because of Coltaine. Do you honestly think the big patch went in because of Coltaine? That's ridiculous. And the SL encounter was
broken. You beta tested it, it was broken, and what should I do, leave it broken because Gronuth got a sword?
Not to mention if I nerfed the loot, a bitch storm would arise, AND it would have, at the time, completely thrown Giant/Dragon out of balance since Rymaz was the only top-end giant loot.
I'm done changing over ubermob encounters, I know that the changes to these encounters have hindered progression and been a bitch, but they were necessary while I hammered out the high end game. I'm only one person, getting an encounter perfect right off the bat is really, really, hard.
You can safely kill Rymaz once you can take him now, and he's never gonna be beefed up again. But I'm not going to downsize him.
