Not able to find files.txt

My SoD patcher, just today, started getting hung up on "Getting Patch List" and won't go any further. I've read the forums and tried all the fixes. I cannot find any "files.txt" in my entire computer. I deleted the patcher and redownloaded and reinstalled. Still I cannot get past the "Getting Patch List".

Any other fixes or tips on finding the files.txt?
 
I just thought maybe the term "files.txt" was used to mean all text documents in the folder, so I took out all of those...tried to repatch and still get hung up on "Getting Patch List".
 
Your firewall or antivirus software is preventing the patcher from working.
