North Tarhyl and the War

Would be 'nice' for those of us non-65 char if 'The War' didn't mess up the North Desert of Tarhyl - i.e. make it unuseable/unpassable. I know this isn't my 'sandbox', but the zone becomes a 65-only raid-only type encounter when this happens. Why not 'mess up' some (already) 65 level zone. This is particularly apropos when there is new content in the game, and many players are off exploring, rather than 'clearing' the zone that has been taken over. Thanks.

Man what zone doesnt screw someone over by having a war in it, yeah it tends to screw lower levels the most but its not just north tarhyl.

Starfall: Oh sorry no you cannot progress your main quest or do the quests should you want too.
Cauldron: Oops cant fish
Etc.

I don't get this either, aside from farming the orcs or doing your adept mob at level 20 or whatever; You can totally get to any zone connecting to this one war or not (Nothing in plaguelands happens to see through invis, if your goal is to get to freeport)

I don't think when the idea of was was created that they wanted to make it convenient, since like that defeats the purpose/feel of it being a war.

good lord... people could complain about anything here.

"the game's to hard, fix it"
"the wars make me use alternate routes for traveling/ leveling. fix it"
"class X cant wear gear Y, fix it"

im not trying to shit up the thread, but the more i try to help out in these threads the more i realize how much its just a bunch of complaining about content they are playing and didnt contribute to designing/ coding/ anything.

if you wanted to use NWoT, but cant now... well i guess you should either A). work on leveling a little. B). hope on your 65 (if applicable) and round up some pals to start clearing. or C). just do something else. there is ALOT of content in this game to where one zone wont ruin the whole day.

the war enters in certain zones and progresses along certain paths. It is not random, and is tied into the existing lore, so not likely to change. If you dont want to participate in the war, dont. If you arent able to participate in the war, dont. If a zone is occupied, either organize a clearing force for it so the humanoid mobs will be able to return, or wait until someone else does, and do something else in the meantime, but as things stand, the war is not going to be changed to make it more convenient. It's war.

If I were Kaezul I wouldn't send my minions in like, Red sun peaks/Darkwoods/Plaguelands with a shitload of mid/high level mobs able to stand against invasion before the said minions get to conquer a city like Grobb.

So yeah obviously a war set to conquer a city has to start in relatively safe zones for invaders, specially if they have already a preestablished portal in those zones.

Uh except for the fact that you can in fact ninja right through most of them. Only a few are impassable.

Most times of day, it's also fairly easy to find a teleport to where you're heading (unless it's the zone in question of course). I'm sure that adding a short and appropriate message about being unable to pass through a war zone would also expedite the taxi-finding-process ;)
