Noob Mage Questions

Are the mage summoned focus items gone?

Is monster summoning gone?

Are all the sword/blade nukes now evocation rather than conjuration?
Does that mean all mage attacks are now evocation?
Does that even matter since specialization changed?

I'm trying to decide on my specs. I've done 50 Energy and 100 Focus. I think Focus is helping more, but I still get resisted a lot. I would appreciate advice.

Max focus then max energy. Even with focus maxed and cha maxed, expect resists.

Monster summoning is gone, dunno about the rest of your questions.

Mostly, yes. There is an Orb of Searfire which adds spell crit chance and is an Augment.

It has not worked the whole time I have played, but there is the chance it could be fixed eventually.

For lower level ones? No. The Magic "Swords" DDs are conjuration. At higher levels? Yes. The rains are evocation.

Does that mean all mage attacks are now evocation?

The fire DDs and rains, as well as the magic rains are evocation. Lower level Magic DDs are conjuration.

Does that even matter since specialization changed?

There aren't spell specializations like there were before.

Max focus, then evergy. With the last 150? points before AAs max Sight/Warding imo.

So, just to be clear specs have a max of 250, and you can get multiple that high. Correct?

Yes. Specs go to 250. You can get two to 250 and one to 150 before AAs. AAs give 2 points per so with enough AAs you can max them all.

Yes, you get 10 spec points for every lvl. Then 2 points per AA.
