noob bard help needed

I have started my first bard and have some very noob questions:

How do I turn off my chords of dis. song once its going outside of sitting or zoning? I don't see it in my song window.

If you have 2 benificial songs going, is there a way to swap out the second song, without losing the song in the first spot? i.e. I want to swap out the song in the showing up second in my song window with a new song, but keep the song in the first spot going.

Are there any tips to swapping out weapons and instraments quickly? Are there any intraments you can play while still having a weapon in hand and fighting?

I have read the info on melodies, and having 2 offensive and 2 benificial spells going at the same time, I have also seen references to being able to still do some twisting. Could someone give me some pointers on twisting? I have tried twisting selo's in with my chant of battle and jig of vigor, but I'm just not getting it to work, it just swaps out my first benificial song with my newest song I start.

I'm sure I will think of more questions as I go along, but these are whats puzzling me now.

Thanks

I've only a lvl 18 bard thus far, but I'll share what I've found thus far.

For your first question, there is a command "/cm endsong", without the quotes, that will turn off all of your songs. However, I usually leave my CoD on as it seems that it only affects targets that you're in combat with, not just a Point Blank AoE song like it was back in the Game. I leave it on when I go to the merchant at the Athica entrance and have never damaged him.

For my instruments, I usually only carry 3 10-slot containers with me and then hotkey my primary, secondary, and inventory slots to my hotkey bank 1.

I've only been able to get 1 damage type song to work at a time, not 2, but I've not played around with the lull and mez songs yet, so they may work simultaneously with the damage song...not sure though.

Thus far, I've not been able to twist songs to any effectiveness. When you sing a new song, it overwrites the oldest song in your "Songs" window, and the effect of the overwritten ends immediately. No help there, sorry.

That's all my info for the moment. Hopefully some higher bards will have more. :)

TheUnknown answered most of it, I just wanted to add that twisting only applies to detrimental songs. The melody only applies to beneficial songs and you can only have 2 going at a time, as you've found, and they're first-come-first-gone. If you want 2 detrimental songs going, you'll have to twist them and they will both be effective (like twisting on live). Unlike live, you can only twist 2.

Just a quick note, you can save yourself an endsong hotkey and just duck. Just remember you have to stand upright to start playing any offensive songs again.

Duck kills any Detrimental spells while endsong kills both detrimental and beneficial
