I copied a chat box file from the sars ui into the default ui and not i cannot log in. either it crashes when i get to character select screen or it laods a blue sky with a human that says level 0. not sure hwat to do maybe if someone could post where to get a new default ui file. im lost tho

You shouldn't load any files into the default UI folder.. You need to make another folder within the UIfiles folder (not the default folder)... Your custom UI folder should be placed like in the pic below (just name them what you want - no spaces in the name)...
Notice that the default folder is seperate from the others listed... When you log in the game, load the folder with your custom UI in it...
