;( A sad sad day, i log into my already gimp looking pally and look at his Hardened Watcher Eyestalk ( which is one of the best 1handed Pal Shd Weapons ) it used to be a bada$$ looking crystal staff... now its a plank of wood with 4 nails in it :censored: .

Is there any chance this was a mistake with the Graphic??

Good god, this is like that 1hb from cmal4 that looks like a doll--you actually get to beat people to death with a doll, but someone complained and it got changed, despite the verifiable fact that beating people to death with a doll rules. And let me tell you, board with nails in it > doll.

You're the envy of the melee world. If my 1hb was a board with nails in it instead of the spikey gold rod, I'd melee like ten times as often.

My thought was how does a Eye stalk look like a board? Well there is a positive side i guess, when people see it they will assume its a crappy weapon and leave me be about it :D

I've always hated the Ice Stick look, never expected it to be changed to what it is. But I will use it no matter what it looks like, and its pretty funny how it looks now. :lol: *reminesces to Simpsons treehouse of horror*
 
Weapon worn graphics have been given a major overhaul to be more diverse and generally make more sense.

A hardened eyestalk isn't made of ice.
 
you could kind of see the eye stalk graphic, its like a long nerve with a bunch of nerve endings at the end

but what kind of giant eyeball has a board with a bunch on nails in it as its primary connection to the brain?

of course, what kind of eyeball drops pants, but thats a different matter all together

a board w/a nail in it does indeed own. A kitchen sink gfx weapon for trolls would own as well (remembering the old days of shadowrun :) )

A hardened nerve stalk doesn't even remotely look like a spiked staff made of ice. That's as big a stretch as a board with nails in it.

well the eyestalk could have been crystalized and treated with a nice gold handle to harden it

but there is absolutely no way to go from eyestalk to 2x4 with nails
 
It could be petrified and have nails driven into it to make it more menacing/damaging.

Honestly, if you're ready to admit a nerve stalk can be turned into a spiked crystal staff, then it can be turned into anything. Including a board with nails.
