No Sound?

I just started playing SoD again and my sound is not working...my PC sound does work but the second I fire up the game I get nothing.

I have tried to re-patch all but short of that does anybody have any ideas? Also I did check in game sound and it is up to normal levels.

For some reason alot of people get no response from changing the options ingame and they fix this by going into the eqclient.ini and setting it to on in there.
