no lore keys

I was wondering if there is any reason why some Keys like Obsidian tomb key, vault key and Inner tomb key are not lore. And if there is no reason if they could become lore.
 
I noticed this the other night. It'd be really great if they could be made lore, so that you couldn't actually loot a particular key if you already had it. Given the number of keys in the game, it's much easier to check by trying to loot a key than it is to keep track of all the keys you have back at the bank.

Yes, I had 2 copies of a few keys in my bank before I cleaned it out not long ago. This would be helpful.
 
The only benefit I could see to them not being lore is that if you left it in your bank and needed it. At least this way you could loot and use another one on the spot! Either way it's an easy enough "fix" that might not be a bad idea. :shrug:

But you don't have to have the key on you... it will work from the bank. At least the No Drop ones (which all the examples given are).
 
All keys work from bank. The exception to this is the requirement to have the Vaporous Crystalline Key in your inventory when you are upgrading Ornate Draconic or Stormforged armor to Combine.
 
Don't you have to use them first or something? I remember being in cmal and not being able to get to the third level after allowing the key to rot, and I definately had the key in my bank (I later confirmed).
 
Yes, as I remember it they work from bank so long as you have used it to unlock the door once before
 
Jay, go ahead and flag them lore, it's not really not intended design or anything, just kinda non-important in my book.
