No Everquest Mouse

Well, after about 2 hours of fussing around with eqhost, I finally got in. But for some reason I only have a system mouse, the everquest mouse is there but i cannot click into the window to get it. I can type and move, just not do anything that involves the mouse. Any ideas?
 
strange, are you using eqw?

was searching eqlive tech for another post reguarding mouse speed issues. Not much help there, only real suggestion was to reload mouse drivers...
 
I always loose my mouse when I get to the character select screen. I just have to control/alt/delete to task manager, then close it & bring EQ back up & the mouse is there.
 
ctrl + alt + r

that will toggle the EQ mouse from the system mouse.

thinking that will do it.
