No Drop -> pet

I would suggest to make it so that pets wont except any no drop items since thy wont use em.
So if you would give him something no drop it would be back in your inventory.
For example if you gave your pet like ...hmm lets say a port neck. He would "Give" it back.

good idea, but i dont understand why a pet shouldnt be able to use a no drop item. But maybe i being greedy. >:}
 
they just dont.
And it would be random that you can not trade or drop it but can give it to pets in my opinion.

ps. i am not trying to get my port neck back. I just want to make sure it doesnt happen to anyone else from now on, because it does not make you happy when it happens.
 
pets used to be able to weild nodrop items if you give it to them... now they dont, I wonder why?
 
been awhile

Mager here, haven't played in a LONG TIME..... but did they change the Mage item spell that summoned daggers because those were no drop items and with the rune proc they worked well for the pet?
 
It was a bug that that dagger was no drop. It is now droppable.

Come back Mager!
 
Some no drop items (like summoned cleric hammers) cause imbalances when given to pets.
