No 3D devices found?

Trying to get WR up and running but says No 3D devices found when I try to run it. Now I dont have a video card but I do have 128mb shared video intergrated and the latest and greates of the DirectX series installed.

Anyone have a clue? Cause I sure need one.

Would appreciate an actual answer from someone who knows what they are talking about. Not some smart ass quip from someone with a 3rd grade education who thinks that they just might be funny.

Have you updated your chipset and video drivers along with the DirectX Drivers?

Also, could I ask what MB you are using - would help narrow down searches on the issue.
 
Haha.. sweet, chipset updated and can now log in. Thanks so much!!

I will say this though, I am running 512 DDR yet it will only let me use 2 or 3 of the newer graphics. Any clues as to why? I was an old school EQ addict and havent played in almost 2 years so I am going to have to relearn the game.

There is an easy fix - instead of clicking next on the character model screen - just hit enter - it will let you choose more than 2.

Like he said hit enter key NOT the NEXT button.

Thought it was weird when I ran across this myself as I have 256 MB vid and 2.5 GB Ram DDR 400.

But these things happen ..

an idea might be to add this info to the install info on the main page as I do see it a lot in /ooc.
