1: Go to the Winter's Roar registration page and create an account. Follow the instructions to activate your account.
2: Download the Winter's Roar Patcher installer and install it.
3: Download the Winter's Roar Hotfix, and unzip it into your EverQuest folder. That is, the place you play EverQuest from. Not your windows folder, nor your essays folder, nor your folder of pictures of your hermit crab. EVERQUEST folder.
4: OPTIONAL: Download EQW here to play in a windowed mode. Note that you MUST use OUR version of EQW, newer versions will NOT work.
5: Familiarize yourself with the rules by reading them here, this step is vital and contains information you cannot skip. NEW: The same goes for the READ FIRST section.
6: Run the Winter's Roar patcher program, and direct it to your Everquest folder. Let it download the required files and then click run. You can NOT skip clicking run, or the files will not copy over properly. Always run the game from the patcher so that you will be sure to have all the proper updates. There is not always a patch message every time we make changes to the patch files.
7: Login with the account you created in step 2, and have fun.
 
Hmm, where's the error? "registration" should have a link if that's what you mean. Probably not the easiest to see link though.
 
I believe Fulorian is referring to the fact that is says step 2 (at the end) instead of step 1.
