I find the night time day time thing more then a pain. I am hardly ever on during the sod day, and have never seen inside some of the shops. The only reason stores close is due to lack of business during different hours. In the SOD world things happen 24/7. Any person who actually owns a business that closed in a situation like this would be crazy. I can understand how the day time night time hours work in some places, but seems a bit on the backwards side for sod. Not to mention the lack of time zones.
 
The SoD days are staggered so that if you play from the same time frame, you would see daytime eventually.
 
Sorry if it doesn't exactly match the request of the author of this thread, but when we 're at suggestions why wouldn't there be a "no store day" every week, different for each race ? (omg Costorin don't keel me plz :p) much like there's a religious day off for every religion IRL ? This would affect most traders, except some "groceries" like the 24/7 comvenient store in front of SNP market ;)
They could also take sudden holidays, cause hey maybe they actually wanna do something else than trading wouldn't they ? I imagine getting in MielechC only to see a 6 NPC group of traders that would be owning the zone ftw.

Or not , screw all that shit, just felt like posting that :p
 
or maybe shorten night time hours from midnght till 5

I have been trying to get to a store for over a week now. Real life sucks when it gets in the way of online shopping.
 
There are some places, like the South Newport Docks, that have merchants during nighttime hours. Have you tried those?
 
I found a nice place to hunt... then found it out its only during night that thats its nice. Guess what.. just about any time I play... its day it seems. Funny when I started SoD it was the other way around it was always nite and I could never sell anything with out taking a walk or looking very hard.

I think its cool in SoD that day/night take alot longer to pass. Use to annoy me that in live 5-6 days could skip right past.. think it was 1 1/2 hours per day or something like that... forgot now.


*shrug*Im use to SoD night/day now
... just wish the Muffied Frogloks were up during the day time to hehe.
