next target button?

i dont think theres a button for this (if there is i'm sorry but what is it!) but is there any chance you could add a button that when fighting a bunch of mobs when one dies or whenever you hit the button, and the next (or another, dont really care) enemy gets targeted?

f8 already picks up an npc near you.
Making a button go to the "next target" is pretty subjective since the game has no way to know which target you want to be the "next one."
Make a button that will /assist (MT name) and it should take care of targeting issues, and only require on keystroke.
 
Theres also binding a key to "toggle last two targets", you hit alt+o, keyboard, then goto target, should be at bottom of the list. It's not set to anything by default, most set it to Z.

Enjoy being a good tank/healer now.
 
Tapeins little tidbit of information is what seperates good tanks/healers from bad tanks/healers. Please delete iae's post before the hardcore get their epeens stepped on.

It's also amazing how many do not know of it.
 
Will that trick work for say a necro soloing.

Like what I want to do is be able to cycle targets between myself and my pet and the target the pet is hitting.

Like f8 will only work on the nearest monster in front of you (wont matter if something is closer if you cant see it - at least it seems like that to me) and tab will only switch between yourself and your last target.

The /assist button is a good idea, and one I use .. is there a way to /assist pet? that would be useful as well.

The toggle targets button only works for two targets sadly :[

Speaking of combinations, are there ways to force key binds (tab-cycle, F8, etc) into socials?
 
The toggle target button makes soloing a bit more easy, and really helps in groups for bards. I used this all the time on Live as a shaman, but as a bard it is like a really sweet free AA.
