Newport Sewers in the teens?

Hi everybody,

Well, in my quest for variety, I decided to take the road less travelled and went back to Fearstone Keep. Carefully working my way into it, I found plenty of blue mobs (I'm level 12), but most of them were light blue. I dared not go further in without support, so I know that once I ding 13, if I can't find partners, I might have to reconsider hunting there until there are enough greenies for me to make my way deeper in.

I thought about giving the Newport Sewers a try in a level or two. Given that some mobs there drop the same stuff as in the Warrens, I figure it is a good hunting ground for level 13-15ish ? Plus, the area being well travelled, I should be able to find other people wishing to try something different than BB.

So, are the Newport Sewers a good hunting ground for level 13-15, or will I get eaten alive?

There are gnolls down there that would be decent XP but alot of them are shaman mobs. Take a healer and dont expect to find people hunting there.

Yeah, in some of the rooms with multiple spawns all of them will be shamans, which is a major PITA.

That area is extremely unrewarding at the appropriate level. You are almost guaranteed to wipe due to the multiple shaman healing and the dots. Maybe in a full group it would be fun, I tried it in duo and it was suicidal.
