Newport Rogue quests

I just wanted to let everyone know how much fun these were to do. Everything was laid out great and there were no bugs that I could see. (except for he might not tell you the keyword for the next quest anymore, but that was slightly buggy yesterday.) It is a progression type quest upgrading a rogue only hood. Each quest involves a rogue skill : pickpockets, picklocks, killing stuff, etc. I reccomend them to everyone. (And thanks to the devs.)

Very worthwhile for anyone. (not just rogues from low to mid levels)

PS *cough *cough, Perhaps there could be a final upgrade to giving it Aura of Hellfire? ( :lol: ) I can wish right?
 
Walkthrough

Being from Live and jsut now starting on WR I find that I was indeed highly spoiled by allakhazam's walkthroughs and I found myself thinking it would be nice to have walkthroughs on some of the newbie gear quests(such as this one) so that new players can do these gearing up quests without too much frustration. I know that I finally gave up on trying to get the second part of this quest after an hour of running around NP hailing everyone after getting the Thug's hood. So any info on this quest(and any others) would be apprecciated =)
 
Actually one of my favorite parts regarding WR is the fact that there isn't an allakhazam type of site for everyone to just look up where to get their things.

I appreciate the fact that large amounts of effort may be require to figure out a quest. :)
 
I couldn't find the NPC who starts it. Searched all over, though I do believe I found some of the NPCs involved... I pick pocketed every green NPC I saw and got a coin purse hehe, and a rusty blade inside a building where I picked the lock =P.

Anyways to the problem. I started this Quest. Am an Gnome R()gue and I was able to get the 1st quest done. Many times. Am unable to get this person to release more information as to the 2nd rank quest.

Is this still a Bug as I have read above? should I bug it?

When I did the quests, it was bugged so that he told you the keyword for both first and second when you asked about the first.

I think now you just say "I am (insert rogue rank here)" and he should tell you the next step.

I handed in the 1st asked item like 4 times :p Then I saw him say the next line of text..

Really I was in Coookie Withdraw!!!!! makes it hard to do the most common of tasks!! :lol:
