Newport necromancer quest problem.

So I was exited today, I got my necromancer to the point that he could complete the questline to do the acolites. But when I hailed one of the acolites and said, "Entropy demands your death. I will be its hand."
He responded with what he should have said, "I'll not succumb without a fight!" But, I still took a faction hit for killing him.

To my knowledge, I didn't do anything wrong. I've seen other necs come in, kill the same person, and get the quest done.

Did I do something wrong, or is this bugged? If it is a bug, can I get my faction set back to just above indifferent? I'm affraid to the kill the other acolyte since it might drop me below indif and I wont be able to continue the quest line.

And he did attack me first.

Character's name is Shdalia btw.

Someone told me to hail and kill Vira as well, so I gave that a try.

something tells me that Dark elves just screwed with this guest line. I hope this is fixable, its the 2nd time I've attemped this quest line with the necro, and each time it has done the same thing. Hail them, talk to them, say the lines, they attack, and then oh, you dubious now. Great. Geeze, if I have to reroll again to fix my faction. . . >.>

It was half broken. It should be fixed now (or when I clear the quest cache). I'll try to correct your faction when I can figure out exactly how much you lost.

I went from amiable to dubious. :'(
I'll be sitting on the character, maybe that will help in some way. I do remeber considering the decay lord dude (NEcro gm) and him being Amiable (I'm guessing thats above indif) before I tried to do the quest. If you can just reset it to the minimum of amiable I'll be happy, or whever the requirement is for that paticular part of the quest.

Still isn't fixed. :'( Wanna see more of the quest designers' hardwork.
Since I rerolled the char you might have fixed one of them, the one that I deleted and rebuilt within a day or so.
