Just a thought on the faction items from BB, Paw, and Everchill.
There may be more decent faction quests than I know about for Newport. Certainly to get up to indifferent you have a number of options, with the crops, the gnoll ears, and the sewers quests. After that, though, all I really know of is the Ring quests and the faction farming in Paw and everchill.
The setup seems to really encourage higher level people to sit for long periods of time in Paw to farm faction. I hunted there most of the time from level 35 or 36 until around 50, and I got *maybe* 15 liodreth heads between my two characters. That barely makes a dent in faction--after farming some more, I've turned in at least 32 on my pally, and he's still not max kindly (might not have been max amiable before I started on them).
I know the experience modifier changes are geared toward getting people out of the same old zones to explore and move around. I also am under the impression that the devs don't particularly want a bunch of high levels clogging up lower level xp zones slaughtering everything to farm--and yet that's exactly what I see probably 2/3 or more of the time in paw.
Would it be possible and acceptable to either up the drop rate of the heads, so that it's feasible to actually get the faction you need in the intended level range for that quest (which would make a lot of sense) or else put in some other alternatives, aside from the rings, for the 40s, 50s, and 60s to bridge the gap between paw and everchill? The status quo seems to just go entirely against the desire to get people out and exploring new places.
