I recently started a wizard and at level 14 I've found that spell resists are really annoying. I can understand only hitting ~33% on a red con, ~60% on a yellow, and ~70% on whites. But I'm concerned that I'm doing something wrong when a blue con Kobold ends up resisting 2 out of 5 spells. Fighting in Warrens part of the day I found it wasn't uncommon for this to happen.
The only thing I can guess is that my CHA is 99. Can anyone advise me on what my CHA should be at a certain level range? (IE 10-20, 20-30 ... etc) or tell me what I else I should be looking for? Any help would be great.
On a positive note... one thing this has taught me however is to not throw all of your mana into big nuke spells especially when the mob is a yellow con or higher.
Also I've seen some items with the focus effect Cryogenic Focus what does that do exactly?
