Newbie rogue quest broken

the first newbie rogue quest where you kill meldin for his hand seems to be broken. i got the quest from the npc in northnport (anlir_bloodscalp) and killed meldin as asked and received an item called "coordinator's head" instead of the hand. anlir won't take the "coordinator's head" as an item reward and just returns it to me, and i can't get the quest again as the npc no longer responds to the words to innitiate the quest and meldin no longer gives me any items when killed.

sorry, i wasn't logged in. roehm is the name of the character. if there's any chance a gm could help me out to get the hand if i won't be able to do this quest again it'd be great. should i just petition?

Yeah, this is a bug. Get ahold of a GM to exchange the head for the hand.
