Newbie here with question

Hi, I am new a new player to the Game and Shard of Dalaya, albeit not to mmorpg as I am an ex-wow player. I tried to find the class forum but there doesn't seem to be one. My question is what would be a good race for rogues? The race I found to be most suitable are IKSAR, GNOME, and HALFLING. Also what is the effect of haste?

Edit - Ok I just found the class/race forum. If a mod would please move my thread over there it'll be awesome.

Its late.. I could be wrong... but I dont think Iksar can be rogues.

That said any race really does well as a Rogue I think. It depends really on what you want for Fluff, and little racial bonuses.

Indeed, Iksars can't be Rogues. Too subtle a job for scaly bloodthirsty monsters.

No offense meant to any Iksar within harm range of me.

Is there a raid spec for rogue? Are Rogues affected by strength or just agi and dex?

Is there a place I read up on about rogues?

Simply, haste increases your attack speed.

100% haste makes you attack twice as fast, and 200% haste makes you attack three times as fast, and 300% haste makes you attack four times as fast

WeaponDelay/(1+Haste%) = Delay after Haste
1 Weapon Delay = .1 second

There are different types of haste that stack, they are:

1 - Haste from styles
2 - Worn
3 - Spell (including normal bard songs)
4 - Bard song 'tribes' and relic: fiery warcry of tarhyl, amice of the golden dawn effect, guardian of the forest, etc.
5 - Some AA abilities, enchanter illusion haste, heavenly wrath

Ok for stats of a rogue. What is a good even level stats for rogues? Does anyone have any objections if I choose a Halfling as a rogue? I decided to do that since the Agi and Dex of halfing rogues are relatively higher than any other race.

Edit - So I read the part on wiki and it says this
"STR over the cap increase your damage.
STA over the cap increase your mitigation.
DEX over the cap increase your chance to hit.
AGI over the cap increase your chance to avoid.
CHA over the cap increase your chance of landing spells"

So I guess str does play a part in damage and not agi.
