For Wizzies its all about the mana pool. Currently i am level 14 and my mana pool is tiny because i have absolutely NO GEAR to speak of. I am new to SoD and would like any suggestions from you folks about what i should be looking for. How much money i will need to buy the items. Where i should be hunting for gear at. Do i need to TS my gear?

Any and all information is appreciated.

Early on, one of the easiest upgrades is to get gold star rose quartz rings and earrings. These each give +5 int, so that's 20 intel right there. You can also check out the quest from the Mage guild in SNP. I don't remember the guy, but it's all on the wiki and you can get a 4int/cha staff with +channeling.

Some other suggestions for low level questing:

Mantle of the Apprentice - +1 Int, can be upgraded later.

Erudin Newbie Quests - Insignia and Sash give +5 mana each.

Those can offer some assistance in starting to build some stat gear (not stellar but a start).
