Newbie Druid/Mage Questions

I was reading that the Druid Swarm spell line has a slow component to it. Does slow affect movement speed or just attack speed?

Also, a high level Mage water pet slows at 25%. Do lower level water pets get a smaller component of slow?

Thanks. :D

The swarm spells definitely do not slow movement. News to me that they slow attack speed though. Never heard of that. Nor have I heard about the water pets slowing. I don't cast swarm enough or have looked on the spell databases to find out if the swarm thing and slow is true.

:) In this post, Podge states that Druid Swarm has a slow component that seems to scale with level up to 25%. Or maybe it just affects the relic spell and in my head I wish it were true.

Thanks for your help on my Swarm question. The spell explanation of Shaman's Torpor on http://wr.camongrel.de/ lists a slow of 80% and a movement debuff. Listing a movement debuff along with slow seems to confirm that slow doesn't reduce movement.

Wiz states in this post that water pets slow at higher levels. I still wonder if mage pets slow at lower levels.

torpor is self only (not enemy), a nice heal over time vs mana ratio but it snares player by 80%.

*changed target to self, it was target on live*

Torpor/Slumber is self only. =\ And it not only snares, but slows attack by 75%, or 80%. Slumber actually raises AC and stats though.

Shaman's Torpor on http://wr.camongrel.de/ lists a slow of 80%
<---- 80% slow? Shaman AA slow doesn't even do 80% it does 75%, and that's the best slow in the game. So I doubt it attack slows for 80% highly.

And mage water pets do slow at lower levels. Just a lower margin. (At least that's what I was told)
