Im not sure what im effing up, but i've got EQ and gates of discord downloaded and i keep going through the installation process on http://wiki.shardsofdalaya.com/index.php/Installation_guide. Any suggestions, i'd love to get back to playing EQ

You'll likely higher quality help in the Tech section, but perhaps explain in greater detail what step of that process you are failing on, and any error messages? From what you posted so far all I can say is "there is a problem" but I feel like you already know that.
