Well, I used to play EQ. It was a lot of fun, got to raid some end-zone content (everything from PoP to Demi). Then I simply couldn't afford to pay a monthly fee for the game, and I quit. Came back briefly, my guild had gone on to some other content, and I was waaay behind. Most of my friends had quit, and the guild had a collective rod up their arse. So I quit again.
Call me old-schooled, but I played a monk. Complete with learning pull dynamics, and FD split strategies. I pulled, quite well, before monks ended up getting the pacify discipline line. In fact, before disciplines even existed.
So here I am... back to my roots. Having a little trouble getting my system to play nice, but the FAQ has been a huge help, and I've been slowly but surely getting my problems fixed. Hopefully, I'll be actually playing soon.
