new to WR

Hello and well met!

I am currently setting things up and patching to be able to connect to the WR server.

Figured I would take this time to introduce myself. I am coming to you as a recent drop from EQLive on the Povar server. My main there was a 64 Half-Elf Warrior, that I have played for the last 3 years. Have no desire to go back to the live servers, but thought I would give this a try... with me is also my real life girlfriend, who is new to the game and so this will be her first time playing, another reason I chose to come here. I want something new, but I love EQ.

Look forward to meeting all of you once I get adjusted and actually in game. Will most likely use my old name Tynaeya for another Half Elf warrior, but will be trying out some of the classes I never played in the last 3 years.

oh and...

Thought I would add I am not new to the EQEMU project though. I ran a server about 9 months ago for my guild to tinker on during downtime from the live servers... :)
 
well...

Well after getting adjusted and some sort of bearings established... wierd starting in Mistwood (aka toxxulia) and I also had to teach my G/F how to play along the way, we actually had a lot of fun. I met some of you ingame as well. Have to say it's nice feeling like a noob again and having no idea where I am going... lol

(oh and as one person pointed out, I ended up with my half elf warrior - tynaeya again.. hehe..old habits and all)
 
Heya babycakes. I finally got logged in. So much for your half-elf warrior huh :) Yes, this is quite fun. I'm rather enjoying myself. I wouldn't mind going on live servers once I get the hang of the game.
 
i dunno...

I'm happy here on winter's roar...

not sure i'll ever go back to live servers....

wiz and the gang have done a wonderful job...


i'm actually enjoying EQ again!
