I would really like to join
Reading about your server I would really like to come and play a cleric since it seems you all talk about needing more. The only problem is that your site for joining Winter's Roar will not function for me so I need a way to join =(. Please help

Read through the INFORMATION links to the right to familiarize yourself with what Winter's Roar is all about. These sections will answer most of the frequently asked questions that new users have.
IMPORTANT!!! Read the rules! Click on this link (http://www.wintersroar.com/rules.html) in order to read the rules. Ignorance is not an excuse. If you break a rule, we don't give a damn if you bothered to read them or not, you'll be punished the same way.
Register for an account on the Winter's Roar message board (link to forums on right). The message board should be the first place to post all bug reports and to generate community feedback / support for the server.
Make sure that you have a valid account with EQEmu (link also to the right). Your EQEmu forum account/pass will be the same login and password you use to login to the EQEmu server selection area.
If you haven't already, install Everquest along with the expansions up to Planes of POwer and patch them to full. If you do not have all or any of these expansions, you can still play, but you will miss out on some areas of play.
Make a backup of the spells_en.txt and eqhosts.txt files in your Everquest directory.
Download the wrfiles.zip and unzip the files into your Everquest directory. You should now grab EQWindows (will allow you to run EQ in windowed mode). Grab the latest version here. For support and information about EQWindows...visit http://www.eqwindows.com.
Now you're ready to connect to the WR server to create your account. Start up EQWindows (eqw.exe) and connect to the Winter's Roar (Legit) Server. Once there, log out, or you can go ahead and create a character.
When you log in, you'll need to approve your account for play. MAKE SURE you have read the rules and agree to them. After you've logged in, you have 60 seconds to auto-enable your account. To do this, type: #doapproval. This should flag your account in order to play on Winter's Roar.
