new to SOD

Hi everyone,

I am considering a switch to SOD from EQ amd was wondering a few things.

Will I still be able to log into to EQ after I start with SOD?
DO I need to own all of the expansions? I have about 4.

The reason I want to switch is because after coming back to EQ after a time away I find other players so far beyond me in level and finances that grouping is tough to find. Will I find the same thing in SOD ?

Make a duplicate Everquest directory if you want to easily switch between playing EQlive and SoD. But even if you don't do that, you can always patch with the EQlive patcher to play on live again.

SoD patcher overwrites some EQ files, so you'll need to repatch to play live. You can still copy your EQ folder into another directory to have both EQLive and SoD.

You need to own whatever you use (it's the copyright protection). For SoD you need up to PoP or so, it's in the main page.

There's a lot of people at lower levels, but in case you don't find a group, soloing is faster here than on live.


You should really give it a try ;).
