New to SoD, 2box help

So as you can tell by the title I am new to SoD and I was wondering if I could get some opinions, maybe pros/cons of the 2box I am trying to start.

So far I have been considering:
BST/WIZ
BST/CLR
BST/DRU

I would really appreciate if someone could suggest to me what would be the best combo for a casual gamer who may only get the chance to group every so often.

Thanks.

Depends what you want to do. BST/Wiz can do a lot of things but it falls behind against harder stuff (lack of heals for the bst)

BST/Druid is REALLY good (and probably the best choice for a bst in my opinion)

Yeah, DRU/BST will be your best choice if you are mostly a solo/duo player. The classic meele/healer combo is always strong and druid ports are really nice when duoing. I'd also wager that a druid is actually a better healer (at least once they get ancient and/or relic HoT) than a cleric.

Thanks for the input. I will probably go BST/DRU.
I have another question, how would BRD/WIZ be?

Or what would be the best duo for a wizard?

brd wiz can kind of work... you need to be pretty skilled at 2boxing since you are usually kiting mobs.

Best duo with wizard depends what you are doing.

WIZ/PAL is decent especially when the pal gets some good gear.

WIZ/healer isnt efficent but can generally duo harder mobs than any other wizard combo.

WIZ/ENC can be good vs mezzable mobs.

In general though Wizard just isnt really a duo class. I play a very endgame wizard and its usually best for me to either solo or get a full group. The only time i box is when a raid/group is missing a key class or if I really need to do some quest stuff that I just cant solo (usually I'll use a druid here)

Take it from a guy that largely boxes a wizard and a shaman (odd duo, I know). Solo is right. The healer is there for convenience usually, the wiz is doing the heavy lifting. Id be interested in trying Wiz\Pal though. Wiz\Enc seems like it would be ok, but it usually isnt.

So WIZ/PAL seems like an interesting duo. I might try it, if I fail I will switch out the wizard for a healing and do a more typical 2box. Once again thanks for the help.

My main is a bst, and I regularly abuse a druid that has all her HoT's (ancient, relic, group). It makes a really nice combo, esp with port & ds. That extra bit of utility makes it better than the cleric imo. Though cleric with an emp, divine rage, and ancient hammer is a sexy dps addition.

Nope, I use emp, lasts longer, don't have to store an enc nearby to refresh. Don't have Yaulp 6 on her yet, anyways. So I turn on her autoattack, and then go back to the bst for slows/dots and such. Yes, your set-up would be greater dps, but it isn't the best option, especially when wandering around ikisith with no enc nearby. If the enc was in the group, that'd be a totally different story.
Though the new cleric dd/heal spells may have me spend more time on the cleric, it's debatable to just throwing a hot and using the main dps of the duo more efficiently.

Get your boon of the garou on.

I don't play a beast but everyone I have seen/known has recommended beast druid so who knows.

The haste on GoE and Yaulp 6 don't actually stack. It may look like they do, since the haste component of each spell is in a different slot, but they don't -- and shouldn't.

Oh, well in that case then Yaulp V is better than Empower anyways so he should be using that...

Also having Goe And YaulpVI totally placebo effects your cleric making him better!

Yes, because as a cleric your str is always so high that you would never ever ever ever

EVER

want the bonus stats if you're going to melee.

What the fuck is a clock?

Okay so after some experimenting I think I want to use a more traditional tank/healer combo.

Thoughts on SK/Druid 2box?

SK + Anything works out eventually. I know some of the best shadowknights boxed a druid. It probably is the fastest character to accelerate leveling(teleports+ds is the greatest damage increase for exping)
