i thought it would be cool to add armor dye to the game. it would be something new for people that like tradeskills and it could be good business for them as well. it could also give players their own unique style. just an idea, think people would like it.
 
i like the way it is now, high tier chars are all rainbow colored. im open to it if we ever do allow dying armor.
 
yeah, think i remember wiz saying he wasn't gonna do armor dies because it takes away from the Orginality feel of the game when everyone begins dying themselfs all black or all blue or all red, and am sure that the ingame dye button wouldnt work if they wanted it to since its a client change, about the only way it could be done is in a forge with a compnet of some kind
 
Tbh considering most optimal gear sets are pretty much the same at each tier, everyone ends up looking much alike anyways. Everyone picking among a few specific colors probably wouldn't happen. Personally I'd probably go with purple and black.

High level toons tend to look much like we just picked up something at a consignment shop honestly, that or we have no ocular functions, or are all schizotypal.
 
I just like the idea of the random colors. Personally, I've got some random colors, and they don't mesh. But, you grow used to it. Right now, I've got pumpkin color arms, pink pants, and a brown chest. Not to mention blue bracers, green boots, and black hands. Sounds terrible, but its not bad.
