New Music for SoD?

Anyone else think that SoD might need a music makeover as much as I do? Think we need to put some kinda contest of sorts to get some better in game music. If such a thing can be done, let me know, so I can get to making some new material. (edit: meant to put this in Suggestions & Requests...doh)
 
All zone music files can be found as mp3s in your SoD Directory, so yeah, I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to customize them.
 
i meant for a complete overhaul of the ingame music for everyone, heh, since most of the music has that "midi" sound about it, i was gonna post up some requests at OCremix.org and see if anyone there might be able to assist.
 
Just to make sure we talk about the same thing - you suggest to set up new music for most zones and distribute them all over the SoD community, via a patch maybe?

Interesting idea, but keep in mind that there are lots of files (>80), ant they all have their size (almost 200mb total for the current files)
 
I completely removed the mp3 files from my directory and would dislike it if I were forced to repatch them. Even more so than the patched splashscreen =\
 
Besides, i think most ppl have their sounds turned of anyway in favor of listening to their own favorite music.

I know i do.
