I used to play Everquest a while back (Started with the Original, Last Expansion played Dragons of Norrath).
I played almost every class that was in the game, but my favorite characters were my Enchanter and my Rogue.
Favorite memory from Everquest was when my Enchanter was lvl 43 and was challenged to a duel by a lvl 55 paladin. I declined his first few challenges, but he continued to repeatedly send duel requests to me. So I finally accepted his duel request and immediately enthralled him, then sent him running feared all around greater faydark for nearly half an hour.
