New here, need some class advice

Hey yall,
Just found SoD while i was craving some EQ goodness. I used to play a rogue and a ranger on EQ and I like both, but I'd like some opinions on what classes are the most needed, population wise. I really prefer melee/hybrid, but might be willing to try a caster depending on peoples opinions.
