new equip ideas

Questions like this come up a fair bit. Have you done a /who search for other SK's in your lvl range and a little above to see what they are wearing? Have you looked through the wiki? Checked Listsold? There are a bunch of things you can do on your own before asking others to spoon feed you information, some of which is rather obvious (like upgrade Warpmetal to Deepmetal, work on your MQ more, blah blah). Especially in your situation where you dont want to group or raid and only want to buy things. All you have to do is search listsold since it really does not matter what people recommend if nobody is selling it and/or you can't afford it.
 
He isn't asking to be spoon fed, he is asking a very relevant question as a new player. Instead of jumping on him, just ignore the post if you don't like it. I'll look at your fomelo a bit later nikki and see if anything comes to mind. Tmap gear is always a great start though.

Edit: I'd look for a 20% + haste item and start replacing your warpmetal gear with either Deepmetal or Tmap peices. Overall though your gear looks solid enough for your level. Pauldrons of the High Priestess are a solid shoulder item that runs about 300+ pp. I highly recommend picking those up.

Jump down his throat? Did you even read my post? I gave him several suggestions so he can answer his own question, and maybe even learn a thing or two in the process. Frankly, as a new player especially, checking other chars in his lvl range and checking the wiki would be of much more value then simply being told what to buy and how much to pay.

Rotblade is already a great weapon at level 53, your purpose as a SK is not DPS, so I wouldn't worry about getting a better weapon.

go to a banker, /cm listview 20 repeatedly, check vendors that look interesting, and spend no more than 20 min comparing armor pieces
 
Screw listview, use the website version. Much quicker, and no worries about wasting buffs you might have.

But, as posted before, your weapon is pretty damn good for your level. Maybe a malignant war mace(sk only 1hb, like 500 to 1kpp tops, I think) to replace it, assuming your 1hb is maxxed.
Your job is tanking though, so ac is far more important. Upgrade your armor to deepmetal (or better, if available, affordable), aug all that new armor with ac augs, finish the MQ aug, get a charm with ac (guardian a good choice), finish newport 4 ring, and upgrade other ring/earrings for items with ac on them. Also, consider trying to start work on your diety augment, and do more work on your blackscale augment.

Doing those things will serve you far better than a simple weapon upgrade.
