New computer fresh install not working

I have the titanium disks and whenever I get to the 3rd disk it will get to the katta files then crash saying there is an incorrect file or something to that nature. These are the same disks I used on my old computer so Im not real sure what the issue would be. The computer is a brand new toshiba satellite, windows 7, intel celeron processor, 3gigs ram. Any ideas?

I used these same disks less then four months ago to install on my old laptop, they've been kept in cases, and our in pristine condition. Any idea what would be cause them to mess up like that?

EDIT Of course the time I try it after I post for help it works. Thanks.

Ok I got the titanium to install and everything patched but now I crash out whenever I zone. I had this same issue with my old computer.

This computer is brand new. I litteraly bought it this morning, but am having the same issue I had on my old laptop.

The internet connection where I live is kinda crappy. Could this be the culprit in my crashing problem?

It's entirely possible. Cless for quite some time had that problem, and I think that his connection was timing out when zoning, causing him to be booted most of the time when he zoned.

Gotcha. Unfortunately I live in the great state of WV and being out in the sticks our interet is anything but fast.

I have a wifi internet and when the service is bad I zone crash, a lot. Too much packet loss = bad for zoning.

Its definately my internet connection at home. I took my laptop to work with me and could play flawlessly. Aside from paying for a faster connection is there something else I could do to help with this problem?

When you say that your internet is crappy, do you mean dial-up crappy? or slowish cable/DSL crappy? Who is your ISP? And what part of WV????

Can't get Shard of Dalaya to run on my new laptop with windows 7 either. However no problem when it comes to my stationary at home with xp.

So windows version might be the problem?

My SoD works just fine under windows 7, i'd say its unlikely that OS is to blame.
