.NET Framework Question

I know back when I started we needed .NET 1.1. Will the game run on Version 2.0? or has anyone found a way that it can work? I'm asking becasue I want to install some mods for Oblivion and the one mod manager requires .NET 2.0. I don't want to mess up me being able to play SoD. But I do want to make playing Oblivion hawt. Anyone able to shed some light for me?

PS...on a side note...why wont this new forum let me searh?! Keeps saying I didn't type in the Minimum amount of words to search no matter what I type in. I tried looking up past postson .NET Framework.
 
enclose a phrase with quotes to search.. for example - ".net framework"

Otherwise it sees the phrase as just - '.net'

Yes it will work.

Edit: Further explanation. 1.1 and 2.0 run side-by-side. They are separate installs. If you go to control panel > Add/Remove Programs, you will see them both listed as "Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1" and "Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0".

Now if you for some reason only have 2.0, then there might be a problem, depending on how the code was written. But if that is the case, just go back and download 1.1. :)

I'm not the OP, but, no, I didn't know that until this thread! Always wondered why they showd up as two different installs in Add/Remove Programs. Thought it was another case of MS not doing the uninstallation routine correctly. Interesting.
