Need help starting a Ranger

What is a good class specifically for Rangers, and after I decide to create a certain race for the Ranger, What would be good to put my stat points into for a good character build? I need opinions so I don't make a terrible build.

You mean race I assume....it's all a matter of opinion.

It would seem wise to use the points for dex and then wisdom with the remaining but rangers have a ton of items to increase dex. Evening out through str/sta is also nice. Rangers are pretty well rounded. unless you throw things into int you can't really go wrong.

Froglok rangers ftw. (Wood elf if you don't have a chanter with sb perma illusion available.)

Put your points into stamina. Everything else is easy to raise, and that extra bit of hp is always useful.

Imo regarding stats, human is the slightly best choice, also they have a little exp bonus. No big difference though, if it wouldn't have been for same look as life I'd made a woodelf because of the annoying blindness of humans.

Bump stamina regardless what you chose.

I would say Stamina as well. Definately the hardest stat to increase as far as i have seen. Rangers may not be a tank class, but sometimes they need to step into that roll and havin that extra stamina will be really helpful if u have to tank or end up takin aggro from the tank.

Race-wise i suggest Woodelf because not being able to see in certain zones sucks.
