Need advice on where to take my 24th level Mage.

Halls of Mielech/Upper Guk: I assume I'd have to go pretty deep in to get to any blue mobs, and this zone doesn't seem very popular, so it's not high on my list.

Temple of Yaralith/Cazic Thule: Another zone that for whatever reason gives me a bad vibe.

Warpstone: At 24th, how deep would I have to go to get some blues?

Northern Badlands/North Karana: I'm afraid that i would fall asleep hunting there :D

I'm basically looking for a popular zone, that also gives me a chance to solo, just in case no one - my level - is around.

why would you want a popular zone to solo?

Sbadlands fighting Liodreth outside of Paw is another option, just gotta be wary of corrupted roamers.

What I meant is that I like to group, but need the option to solo if no one is around, so a zone that is both popular and easy to solo is my first choice.

Hum, lessee...

The first floor of the mansion in Shrouded Isle should be all dark blue/some light blues to you, if I recall the levels right. However, people tend to go there at either lower or higher levels, as you're sort of "in-between".

Kodiaks in The Warrens could be good, as they are level 20ish, except bloodfrenzied which are about your level. There are often groups down there so you ought to be able to find people to join you every once in a while. Biggest con is that you would be limited to Kodiaks as pretty much everything else in the zone is already light blue or green to you.

First floor has gone mostly green/light green, while the second has a disturbing mix of reds that make it almost impossible to weed out the evens and yellows :(

NBL footpad camp near EBL bridge possibly. Wanderers in NBL, SBL both. The well in SBL has 4 air elementals, dont recall their level but is somewhere around there.

Everfrost has mammoths and if those are too high there are frozen skeletons.

Warpstone is a nice little dungeon to go to your 40's in.

Look for places where you can get items in loot you can then turn in for XP. (shrouded, warpstone)

This suggestion is out of the way and rarely camped, but I thought this would help others who were in a similar situation to you.

I can't praise the pirate camp in sea of swords enough. The pirates are located on an island in the north-west most part of the zone. The pirates are approximately 23-30 with plenty of single pulls to keep you buys, although you'll have to move around the island. If you can find a way to kill 2 pirates at a time you'll be in great shape. The beautiful thing about this zone is it's 25% exp modifier. The loot is horrible but the exp is great. All the pirates are melee-there are no casters. The pirates even drop a piece for the rogue starfall quest so may help you to get a rogue partner to come along.

I took a necro from 24-28 here quite quickly. The hunting at 24 was difficult but once I found a good routine on the island at about level 25 it was smooth sailing.
