Necromancer Duration Taps [Recourses]

So, apparently the recourse effects of these spells (The two relics, Zevfeers, and everything before) aren't effected by focus effects, tomes, or anything like that. Even with affliction 7 and max tomes the recourse of this spell only heals me for 360hp, it can crit and all that and heal me for 720, but it doesn't heal for what the spell is actually doing. Now, as I understood it this is a life tap and it should be sucking the life out of your target and giving you what it pulls out. Is there any way that the recourses for these spells could be changed to reflect the damage that you are doing? Like, make them be affected by Affliction and Tomes pretty please? (I'm pretty sure that they did at some point, did this get changed or something?)

It currently does crit when the dot crits, I'm pretty sure, so I think that's already in place. But yeah adding code that makes it heal you directly would be awesome.
 
Yes, having the spells take up even a temporary buff slot is a pain on raids, especially when your max buffed and having to deal with the mobs sticking two debuffs on you. Dropping three buffs hurts every time I do it.

Now
With the new changes
*Lifetap over time spells no longer take up a buff slot. As a consequence, the healing effect will now end if the damaging effect is removed or if the target dies.
It's awesome to be healed for what it damages , and logical.
But it was very interesting to have it work even after mob dies, for example Zevfeer (group) and Spirit (pet) , Vortex (what about Vortex BTW ?) was convenient ways to be useful to others (for example when the mob dies but a dot is still ticking, or the mana regen part of Vortex).

I do understand that it's logical people don't get healed when damage part of the lifetap ends, don't get me wrong ; but it's kind of a nerf, despite the healing part getting beefed up according to damae dealt.
Therefore I don't believe it's justified to decrease damage on Necromancer LoT's.
 
Question,

Does the group lifetap still stack with hand/spirit of kaezul or do they overwrite?
 
The way the taps work now they do not, if you cast hand/spirit that will stick to you first and will run untill it is done/the mob dies. If you cast Zevfeers after that then it will go onto your group but will not hit you UNTIL AFTER your self/pet tap fades. After one fades the other one picks up and starts to tick. However, if you cast Zevfeers first then your relic one won't hit you until Zevfeers is done ticking. Basically it goes off of the first one cast is whats going to pulse, not sure how this works with multiple necros in group though.
