Necro Taps (Over time)

Am not sure if this was inteded this way or not but it doesnt show how much youve healed for when your taping, Like if you cirt the dot does that mean your health went up the same as the crit or is it the same no mater what?

speaking of witch when you heal another player it only tells you how much damage you have taken doesnt tell u or them how much they have been healed for

I think it does show how much you got healed, would have to log in to confirm.

Taps over time and Necro Lifeflow heals for the amount it does damage/drains HP.

The DoT on the mob and the recourse on you/party might not be connected at all. So even if the DoT crits the recourse not necessarily heals the crit amount. It's a separate buff with the same duration.

Just thinking aloud here, might be totally different really.

Err yeah, that I think.

IIRC that was discussed awhile ago (2 years?) and people found out that the recourse always healed for the same amount, no matter how much dmg was done to the mob. I remembered it wrong, unless it got changed.

OK ninjaing this thread with a question I have in mind for a while concerning the healing part of a lifetap.
I use a beastlord with healing AA's & charmcrit and a clicky (Deadly Spirit) that DD's (not lifetap) which triggers a heal over time on his pet (150 base per tick).

I actually never saw a crit message about the healing part (while definitely saw crit the dd). Why can't it crit ? I see it's not the same type (V2 according to the parser) as cleric-type HoTs ; but it's a HoT still.

I'm pretty sure that only cleric (and pally hots since they're basically the same) are able to crit - it is a hot, that is true but I guess since the recourse is a buff that is different from regular hots it doesn't share the critability of regular hots.

I always kind of figured if I equipped the 200k healer charm, the 10% heal crit bonus might effect lifetap recourses and be all kinds of win. Now that charms have almost 100% return, someone could try it out and know for sure.

It's not needed. If a priest-style class with a 500K & heal AAs won't crit on Deadly Spirit Recourse, because it's a regen-type recourse and not a heal-type recourse. Thing is, apparently if your DoT crit your friends/pet/ yourself, depending of the spell recourse, should also get the critted heal.
