Necro R2: Grip of Kaezul Issue

Currently seeing that the spell does not refresh timers when recasted before duration wears off. The spell casts a DD, and twin casts our two self/pet relic lifetap DoTs, Hand/Spirit of Kaezul. Individual spell testing has confirmed that the two relic spells will refresh timers and extend the spells, however if R2 is casted on a mob early, the DD will process, but the spell will still end within it's original 6 tick window, regardless on which tick the second cast lands. Some have said this has been in game for a bit, so I'm not sure when this started or if it always behaved this way, however it does suck to cast a 900 mana spell and have it end in 2 seconds sometimes because I was off on my timing.
 
Any spell with another spell as a "recourse" will not be able to overwrite itself, this applies to various items, beastlords, bards, shadowknights, probably some others who are forgotten. Its been like this for over a year at this point, maybe even closer to two. It would be great to be fixed because it grossly affects the gameplay of a few classes.
 
Wizard arcane echo is also borked because of this, further reducing their ability to sustain mana on longer fights
