I dunno what it is but when i first started SOD i thought it was vary cool how we had differnt pets each level. but now it seems like am stuck with the same pet at 49 as i was at 44 does this trend contune to stay the same pet till i get my specter pet? or will i get a new looking pet soon?

anyways thanks for reading this post

and new pets at 53/56 as well

unless you meant they were all the same model and "warrior" and didnt get the rogue/monk pets like from live.

Missed the part about "looks". There are only so many global undead models (I count 5). It wouldn't really be worth making another model global (maybe ghoul or something) just for the looks of one mid-level pet.

I wish my pet would look as if I Giantkin'd it :(

There's already variety in that iksar pets are iksar skeletons, some mid-level ets look like zombies (which I think wasn't the case when I was levelling) and if I'm not mistaken small races' pets are small too.

Personaly always felt that the basic Skeleton look should be for the lower levels, and the zombie ones for higher levels.

Ghoul could be intersting... but honestly I would rather see the Mummy Model used for the 50s level Necro Pets. That would be pretty badass.

Though that would be 1 more model to add.

On a side note... I always like the look of Shadow Knights having that Armored Zombie as thier pet throwout all the levels. Just seems more Shadow Knightish.

Would it be worth changing the spectre models (lich and pet) to ghoul models? Spectres look neat, at a distance; a distance where the noise they make isn't audible. It's the only model I know of that allows you to grief other players just by sitting on them, the noise gets loud enough to drown out most anything else at 0 range and just drones on.

Ghouls are like zombies and mummies, subtle idle and combat noises.
