3 days ago, Drakmor (the other 60 necro) showed me around where PoG epic mob is, I finally made more progress for necro epic with help from Drakmor. But he doesnt know where to find Nilf, we carefully read message from thurg banker lady Glorma Wynwarf and dude Oril Wynwarf when i turned in some claim note to Glorma:
Glorma Wynwarf says, 'Oi. Just a minute... hrm... doesn't look like the entire staff is here, just the crystal top. Strange, I could've sworn... Oril, you seen this staff here?'
Glorma Wynwarf says, 'Oril Wynwarf says, 'Well... young Nilf was here around for a bit earlier, but I kept my eyes on him.
Glorma Wynwarf says, 'Bah! surely ye did. I just wonder why he nicked the staff but not crystal. Well, here's the crystal, Ventjir, and i suggest looking in the mines for Nilf, that's where he generally hides out.'
You have recieve Crystal Top from Glorma Wynwarf00.

Drakmor says he cant find Nilf himself (maybe didnt search well or Nilf wasnt up), and said he has to AFK for 5 min, and let me look for Nilf. At the thurg mine, there a 3 path to choose, left, straight, right.. left has some random skeleton, bat, large rat... right lead down ladder but i wanted to check straight before going down ladder.. straight has similar random skeleton, bat, large rat, but has the guy Nilf hiding behind un-closed rocks.
I hail him, he was like 'what is it, you have nothin to say to me, go away' or something similar to that, tried to give him crystal top item, says "Nilf00 has no need for this item." .. tried to say "do you have the staff?" .. Nilf began talking:
Nilf says, 'Err... I don't know what... you're talking bout?', he signs, 'Okay, so you're not going to fall for that. But I don't have the staff anymore... I traded it for this gem here, okay? With this dark elf guy... he was lurking around the wyrm caves outside the city. Just please... [spare me, don't [kill] me and I will give you the gem!'
at this point, I was thinking that if he only just making mistake and just give back and be sorry. I say to him "I will spare you"
Nilf says, 'Thanks! Uh... here it is...'
You recieve Finely Cut Ruby from Nilf00. *Nilf despawns*
I went to wyrm cave, a dark elf standing outside near cave, gave him the Finely Cut Ruby. He went "What are you giving me this fake gem for?" and took it. Nothing in return. I thought o well to late, I think I need to wait for Nilf to spawn and KILL him.
I went back to thurg mine, Nilf not up, Drakmor got back from afk and asked me if I found Nilf, I told him 'yeah i found Nilf spawn point, but he despawn'.. I showed him Nilf's spawn point.
I decided aw well, I can do this tomarrow. The next day, straight path in thurg mine changed spawns to completely different, its all rats.. duct rats, trained duct rats, nesting duct rats, brooding rats, etc.. named Rat spawning in where Nilf is, Nilf not up still. Waited next day, Nilf still not up, same duct rat spawning there, I was worried that straight path was revamped and make Nilf gone.
Please tell me that Nilf still spawns, I havent seen him 3 days.
Maybe I'll write walkthru necro epic (not perfect) when Im done with it and with people's help.

I just hope they are as challenging as the Live epic quests, or even harder. The quest wouldn't be epic if everyone could do it with ease.
